This module shows how to increase learning and improve academic performance by visualizing the levels, engaging in an activity, and reflecting on the level chosen during the activity. A number of examples are shown on the Using the Hierarchy to Promote Learning page of this website. The more the hierarchy is discussed in a variety of situations, the more it becomes a tool that students use for themselves to evaluate their own choices, actions, and behaviors.
